New Year 2014

New Year 2014 2015

New Year is a massive event all over Scotland and Aviemore is no different.  This year we're building on the success of previous years, to offer up a pretty special two day event.  We fully expect this to fill up and sell out quickly, so recommend getting booked in and tickets sorted as soon as possible.  We hope you will agree our menu looks great and the musical line up is really a bit special for anywhere, let alone a wee pub in the highlands.  Check out the bands on line if you're unfamiliar with them.  Each have quite a profile in their own right.

PLEASE NOTE, DINNER ON HOGMANAY AND THE LIVE MUSIC THAT FOLLOWS (which takes us into 2015!) ARE SEPARATE EVENTS AND REQUIRE SEPARATE BOOKING.  IF NOT PAYING FOR THE LIVE MUSIC EVENT, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO VACATE BY 9.30, FOLLOWING YOUR MEAL (which will still allow you plenty of time to eat up).

Below is our dinner menu which will be served on both Hogmanay and new Year's Day.

New Year's Eve
On Hogmanay we will be serving meals from 1pm until 7.30 - all tables to be vacated, with bills paid, by 9.30pm, to allow us to set up for the bands coming on.  Booking is essential and we will require a deposit of £25 per person at that time, which will then be deducted from your food/drink bill on the night.
If you wish to stay on for the music, from 10pm til 2am - and we hope you do - tickets are charged at £18 per person and must be purchased in advance.  These will then be posted to you, or can be picked up from the venue in advance - i.e. NOT ON THE NIGHT.  WE EXPECT TO BE SOLD OUT WELL BEFORE THEN, SO PLEASE DO THINK AHEAD.

The line up (see attached flyer) is as follows....

General

On both nights dinner and live music will be taking place in what is normally our restaurant area.  The bar area will have the usual seating for when you need a breather.  At 9.30pm each night we will clear out the tables and chairs from the restaurant area, making way for the dance floor.

As always, from about 11pm, we will also have a bottle bar in our 'smoko' area outside.  Craft beers, mulled cider, boozy hot chocolate and some snacks will be on offer.  A little party in itself tends to develop here too.  We'll have some extra porta-loos outside this year also, making things a bit easier for all.

As much as we love children, both nights' are for over 18s only.

Old Bridge Bunkhouse (aka Aviemore Bunkhouse) and other accommodation

Our bunkhouse is fully booked (sorry!), but for alternatives, please try http://visitcairngorms.com/ where you can search a plethora of buildings with beds, from basic bunkhouses to 5 star lodges with hot-tubs.  Things go quick, so don't hang about.
